This in-process project continues to utilize modern 3D computer animation services to fully customize an entire penthouse apartment renovation. The clients had specified the need to feel warm and purposeful in the space while embracing the the views directly outside. Natural elements have been introduced to contract the cityscape surrounding to create a well-blended modern space. Ample lighting is provided throughout, especially noted in integrated trim elements to conceal previous age-related imperfections. The kitchen has been designed to utilize existing space and embraces the existing envelope by creating an architectural feature from every restrictive element.

Blending aesthetic components with functionality can typically present challenges as many harsh features are aesthetically interesting. This space seeks to optimize on both design-focused and function-focused elements to create a space that is both visually pleasing and livable for many years. Material selections are focused on durability and timelessness as the space will likely serve a forever home.

Trim pieces are often an overlooked but necessary incorporation in proposed designs. The focus in this section is in creating a visual separation from the floors and walls that is not only interesting, but also an economical interpretation of typically on-shelf trims. Base pieces throughout are created as a conglomeration of multiple, spaced trim pieces to allow additional visual interest as the user of the space is drawn both from the floor to the outside of the space.
